David McDonald is a professional British racing driver from Surrey, United Kingdom. David's racing career started when he was only 8 years old at his local kart track. David's karting career spanned over 8 years which took him racing across the UK, during which time he achieved numerous race wins and championship titles.

At the age of 17, David made the transition to car racing in the Formula Renaula BARC Championship where he achieved great success in his maiden car season with numerous fastest laps and podiums. After his first taste of success in car racing, David made the step up to the British Formula Renault Championship in which he competed for one full season, followed by half a season the following year due to budget restraints. During this time David showed his raw pace and racing skill whilst competing with top teams.

In 2011, David made the switch to sportscar racing in the British GT Championship where he finished as British GT4 Vice Champion in his maiden sportscar year with 3 wins, 6 podiums, 5 pole positions and 4 fastest laps out of 10 races. Since then David has raced in various UK and European sportscar championships continuing to demonstrate his racing ability.
